Support our Church

It is now fifty years after the sacred remains of Saint Mar Kauma was kept and Consecrated by the Late H.G.Paulose Mar Sevarios Metropolitha of the Kochi diocese in our Church. In connection with this in June 2008 Saint Mar Kauma sacred remains establishment Golden Jubilee is going to be celebrated in our Church. The new building being constructed in the Church compound is to be christened as “Mar Kauma Memorial Building” in commemoration of the golden jubilee celebration.

This memorial building is planned with the aim of providing more basic infrastructure facilities in the church. To be built in 3 stories with an area of 5500 sq.ft. to provide prayer rooms for ladies and gents, guest rooms, reception lobby, mess hall, kitchen, store room, attached room for Priests, Sextons and toilets for ladies and gents. Sunday school class rooms are to be arranged on the top floor which can also be used as a mini hall. The overall infrastructural facilities of the church will be improved further with this.

The estimated cost of the building under construction is Rs.55 lakhs. To complete the construction of the building whole hearted support of every member of our parish is inevitable. The general body of the church has decided to accept donations on the basis of Rs.1,000/- for every sq.ft. of the building. Those who donate Rs.50, 000/- or above will be remembered by inscribing their names in the reception hall (Entrance Lobby) of the buildings. Those who donate below Rs.50,000/- will be remembered by including their names to be published in the “ Souvenir” to be published in commemoration of the golden jubilee celebrations in June 2008 of the Sacred remains celebrations of 50 years.

At present church has financially no backup to complete the building. Therefore it is our earnest and sincere request to all the well wishers, believers and Parishioners of the church to cooperate with our this noble aim and request liberal donations for the same.
